I spend most of my free-time have been daydreaming non-stop about having a cute little house in my dream city that I make a mortgage on all by myself. A house that I fill with lovely shabby-chic furniture and delightful little things that I collect on my travels and that make me smile. Nothing too fancy - something that needs a little help - a house that I can work towards making a home.

Weekend in Review: Wasabi, Wine, and a Wedding
This weekend was for-
A Lovely dinner at Sushi Hai in the Highlands of Denver for L’s 25.
Much needed girl time and a good reason to get dressed up.
A newfound love for a delightful sushi roll appropriately named the DropKick.
A whole lot of wine, and a renewed appreciation that a good glass can make almost everything better.
Going to Secretariat (which was on my to-do list)...

Fresh Chicken Tortilla Soup: Back by Request and...
After posting this recipe last January, I have had several requests again and again for my secret. I am happy to share, and think after another request today, it deserved a second showing! Happy eating y’all!
Ingredients:
1 Large onion
2 Fresh Jalapenos
1 Clove Garlic
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
6 cups of Chicken Broth ( I used the all Natural Swanson’s)
